Florentin Palace room in a great location

The location is great, located in the right neighborhood: a bit away from the crowded center but in a walking distance. And this neighborhood is the place for good (not touristic) restaurants, bars and young people. The rooms have amazing decorations, clean, and are very big. The staff was helpful and kind.

Although we order the parking valet service, it was not as comfortable as I expected, there is no place to park in front of the hotel so the valet is actually from the nearby Piazza and you have to wait for them to come.

Hotel staff were so incredibly kind and accomodating from the beginning to end of our stay here. We cannot thank them enough for making this portion of our Europe trip so easy and seamless. The room itself was breathtaking - so spacious, incredibly beautiful, clean, and comfortable. One of the high points of our trip.

Classy, spacious, tasteful room, in a great location for sightseeing most of Florence.

The room was enormous and like nothing else we have ever stayed in. It felt opulent and the bathroom was massive too. A fun, culturally decorated room. More space than one needs really, but that made it all the more surprising. We took my 14 year old daughter too and she thought it was wonderful. Easy access, that felt safe to get into and it was always clean and smart looking. It was useful having a fridge to keep various drinks and food. The immediate area around was very sweet, with a trendy bar nearby (but we couldn't hear it from the room) and a convenience store Conad, a few blocks away to get supplies from. Boboli gardens isn't far from the property either and the Ponte Vecchio was close enough to get to but far enough away to feel like a quieter neighbourhood. Really good location. About a 10/15 min walk to the station.

The window was a little difficult to close fully to block all the light out, but we managed it in the end. It would have been better if they had served breakfast, but there are plenty of places to go so it didn't matter in the end.

Fantastic example of historic Florence close to everything and much better value than the big names next to the Cathedra

Excellent area, just over the bridge and where all the excellent and great value restaurants and bars are. Beautiful classic old building and tastefully converted to a hotel but retaining the huge rooms and fittings of a past era, everything works well though and the bathrooms use modern tech. The AC coped well with the extreme July heatwave and operated very quietly for such a large room, the fridge too and plenty of electric sockets, great to have a kettle as a Brit as the previous luxury Hotel in Todi didn’t so no early morning tea there until breakfast. As with most vacations it’s the people who make a difference and I have to give a great thank you to the lovely Giulia who arranged a lovely treat for us and was so helpful with advice and does/don’ts. It makes such a difference when you have only 3 days in a city like Florence, big hugs Giulia. We loved the City, just be careful of the bikes ignoring every road sign and traffic direction but had a wonderful end to our holiday there and this was a perfect place to stay with a genuine Florentine historic atmosphere and lovely staff.

Can’t fault it, nice bar either side and the soundproofing was excellent so didn’t keep us awake, all good

Lovely location, in beautiful building

Very convenient location central enough yet peaceful. The decor is amazing, lots of painted marble and the ceilings are ridiculously rococo. The shower was good the air con worked really well and was almost silent- perfecto! The receptionist was lovely and went to a lot of effort to get us a taxi.

An attractive place to stay in a quiet neighborhood.

The room was very nice and had a window that opened onto the courtyard. Every room was different...ours was a bit small. The accommodations are on the 2nd floor and there is a small elevator if needed. We liked the neighborhood which was on the south side of the Arno River. It was quiet with nice shops and restaurants, but an easy walk to the main attractions.

Breakfast was not included. We would have appreciated brewed coffee and some breakfast items.

Wonderful enormous room with original period frescos and view over Arno - what more could you want? Very helpful and informative host who was happy to give us the history of the palazzo.

как будто и правда живешь во дворце, люстры, высокий потолок, да еще и расписной, окна со ставнями, огромное зеркало в комнате) совершенно невероятный холл в большим столом и камином, есть ощущение, что ты живешь в итальянском палаццо какого нибудь 18 века. прямо напротив отеля - отличнейшая прошуттерия, обязательно попробуйте там тартар с бурратой, соседняя дверь от прошуттерии - бар/клуб с живой музыкой каждый день, как я поняла

опять таки - как во дворце, а дворцы обычно старые. видно, что мебель сильно "не свежая", пятна на стульях, потертый шкаф и тумба, полотенца и белье тоже "не накрахмаленные". было всего по 1 подушке на каждого, мне не хватило. Еще на фото, когда бронировали, был номер с бОльшей ванной, но поселили по итогу в другой - тоже просторный, но попроще. Мы поднимать вопрос не стали, но мои ожидания не оч оправдались из-за этого. Все принадлежности в ванной - фен, гель для душа/шампунь - все супер примитивное, могло бы быть получше с учетом этой стоимости за ночь и отсутствием завтрака

если вы очень самостоятельный и непритязательный путешественник и можете во всем разобраться сами , то вам сюда . в отеле очень плохая звукоизоляция, слышен каждый шорох, шёпот , слив воды . Номера, выходящие на улицу очень шумные. Нет завтраков, рекомендуют место поблизости , которое открывается в 10-10.30). Вариант парковки тоже на большого любителя , если есть багаж , то неудобно . Красивый сад , который присутствует на фото не имеет отношения к структуре .
